Croma (Croma-Pharma® GmbH) is a prominent player in the rapidly expanding minimally invasive aesthetics industry and a leading European producer of high-quality hyaluronic acid (HA) syringes. The company’s diverse and innovative portfolio spans aesthetic solutions, including botulinum toxin, dermal fillers, PDO threads, and biostimulators, all supported by its own skincare line.

Founded in 1976 in Vienna by the pharmacist duo Gerhard and Karin Prinz, Croma remains a family-owned business, with its headquarters and manufacturing facility for hyaluronic acid syringes located in Austria. The company has grown significantly, now employing 550 people and operating 15 subsidiaries across Europe and Brazil. It also maintains two joint ventures and collaborates with 60 exclusive export partners, distributing its products to 80 global markets, including the United States, Canada, China, and Australia/New Zealand. In addition to its aesthetics portfolio, Croma serves as a contract manufacturer for hyaluronic acid products used in orthopedics and ophthalmology.

Currently, the business is led by the founders' son, Andreas Prinz, who serves as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), alongside Peter Haidenek, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
